Report: Ninjas in Pyjamas merging with ESV5 – ARCHIVE

Sweden-based esports group Ninjas in Pyjamas is merging with a Chinese language firm known as ESV5, with plans to be listed on the NASDAQ, based on a report from Reuters. ESV5 is a three way partnership between esports group eStar Gaming and Victory 5.

A “supply with direct data on that matter” tells Reuters that the businesses challenge “mixed income of greater than ¥400 million RMB (or $61.70 million USD) for 2021” and plan to type a publicly listed firm within the U.S. by the tip of the 12 months.

NIP presently competes in Counter-Strike: International Offensive, Valorant, FIFA, and Rainbow Six Siege, amongst others.

ESV5 is an esports three way partnership of Chinese language esports group eStar Gaming (ES) and Victory 5 (V5) primarily based in Wuhan. The group has two dwelling venues: the LPL Shenzhen dwelling venue for V5, and KPL Wuhan dwelling venue for eStar Gaming. eStar Gaming competed in  LPL from 2019-2020. In 2020, Nenking Group, proprietor of Overwatch League staff Guangzhou Cost, acquired eStar Gaming LPL franchise and rebranded to Extremely Prime (UP).
